Judging feedback for everyone to learn from!
A big focus on OHack is on the real-world.
We like to share judging feedback with everyone so we can help you grow as a software engineer, product manager, project manager, UX designer, data scientist, data engineer, etc.
Please take a look at this post in #general on Slack to see the key themes that the judges had feedback for the projects from the Top 5 teams https://opportunity-hack.slack.com/archives/C1Q6YHXQU/p1728971339855189
Feedback is a gift, so please consider sending your teammates, nonprofit, mentors, Volunteer PMs your feedback link to ask for their feedback too: https://www.ohack.dev/myfeedback

And the winner is...
The judges have weighed in, and we're excited to share the news! Go to the Opportunity Hack 2024 - October - ASU, Tempe, Arizona - ohack.dev gallery to congratulate the winners and check out all of the awesome submissions.
Even though the competition is over, you don't have to stop coding. Update your portfolio to inform your followers about new projects and get feedback from fellow hackers.
Questions? If you have any questions about the hackathon, please post on the discussion forum.

First 90 hackers in the door tomorrow at 8am - we're at capacity!
We have over 200 people signed up, but we'll only allow the first 90 hackers in the door tomorrow.
Why?
We're about quality over quantity.
We're about focus, not noise.
We want an amazing mentor-to-hacker ratio.
...and we're a nonprofit with a limited budget who wants to have delicious food for everyone.
Doors open at 8am - get there early to reserve your spot.
Quick FAQ
- Can I enter without my team? No - we'll only allow the first 90 hackers, so your entire team must be present, bring your entire LinkedList.
- Can I hack remotely? Not if…

“Go for it,” Darshan Sheth said. “If it’s your first time, it might seem intimidating, but it’s an incredible learning experience. Think big, but also make sure your idea is feasible in the real world.”
